Ingredients: Atlantic salmon (FISH) salt, Demerara sugar, Dill, Gin, apple and alder smoke.

Minimum 5 days shelf life on delivery. Suitable for freezing

For the mustard sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional, for added freshness)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey or maple syrup, and white wine vinegar.

  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking to emulsify the sauce.

  3. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Keep in mind that the gravlax is already salty, so you may not need much salt.

  4. Taste the sauce and adjust the ingredients according to your preferences. Add more honey for sweetness or more mustard for a tangier kick.

  5. Cover the sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavours to meld together.

  6. Serve the mustard sauce alongside your gravlax, allowing your guests to drizzle it over the salmon as they desire.

This simple mustard sauce adds a delightful zing to the gravlax, enhancing its overall taste without overpowering the delicate flavours of the smoked salmon. Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste preferences.
