The salmon is the best I have ever tasted!! Its so convenient as I freeze them and each pack can be defrosted in hot water in minutes. It is also very low in calories so a healthy treat. I really enjoy having the Salmon Pate with a cucumber and yoghurt on a bagel. Beautiful salmon and good for me too!
Ordered the teriyaki + honey gilltong and the classic with whisky & maple syrup a couple weeks back! My flatmate and I made a fishboard with it and it was so so so delicious! Absolutely love the soft texture of the the classic and the sticky, jerky-like texture of the gilltong. We also appreciate the subtle smokiness because a lot of smoked fish can get too smoky and overwhelming. Really enjoyed the fish illustrations and the little guide too <3 (we have it displayed on our bookshelf and pasted on our walls). We ordered the starter pack and that is exactly what it is because once you taste the quality it will be the start of a long line of orders! The subtleties of the flavours, the fabulous texture and obvious freshness makes the price feel cheap. It has made us realise what a rip off supermarket smoked salmon is. This is the real deal and worth every penny. We also got a free paté which was absolutely scrumptious, you don’t need anything to enhance its flavours, I could have eaten it straight out the pot!
I was recommended The Pished Fish by a friend and on a crazy whim ordered The Family Feast and I am so glad I did. The most delicious salmon ever, lovey texture, subtle flavouring really super. Giltong is a fab new discovery and the salmon pate is scrumptious. All arrived as promised well packed on time with a lovely welcome letter and a free guide. A super product I will definitely be ordering again.
Have had many different types of smoked salmon, but keep returning to The Pished Fish which is simply the best.

The salmon was just superb. It needed nothing added. I could have wolfed down the entire pack in one sitting.
…But never zero! This was a fun and tasty way to have salmon, I love the texture and those tikka flavours were subtle but present. Yes she did get a little snack of it too (yes as a snack it’s completely safe to share… if you can bring yourself to!)
I ordered this as it was something different I wanted to try and it is amazing ! Very different to smoked salmon more firm but such a fun addition to breakfast, if it lasts until then !

I had the smoked salmon, the gilltong & the dark & stormy
