We caved eventually and decided to do a non-boozy one! We decided not to make this a boring oak smoked one like everyone else does, and instead smoke over a mix of juniper, cherry and hickory to give an aromatic, smokey taste that doesn't overpower the fish like some oak smoked salmon can be. We really want you to banish the bland supermarket smoked salmon from your life and make every family breakfast memorable.
